It was apparently date night for singer/songwriter Ne-Yo and his fiance’/baby mama Monyetta Shaw last Saturday night as they hit up Atlanta’s Magic City Strip club.

TMZ copped a few exclusive shots of the cute couple as they partied the night away surrounded by strippers and paying a few college tuitions by leaving behind thousands of dollars in tips.

Like most men, Ne-Yo has a ‘thing’ for Atlanta strip clubs, (remember Ne-Yo’s ‘The Way You Move Video“?) and what better way to spend quality time with your mate than to adapt to his/her interests?

 

I guess it ain’t no fun if yo’ baby mama can’t have none! :-?

It’s no secret that Kandi Burruss of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is the ultimate businesswoman.

Having developed a successful and well respected presence in the music industry, Kandi appeared on a recent episode of “Swift Justice” with Judge Jackie Glass, where she used her extensive musical knowledge to serve as an “expert witness” on the court television show.

Glass, who is reportedly a huge “Housewives” fan, invited Burruss into the “Swift Justice” courtroom to share her wisdom, as a musician, in a case involving a breach-of-contract suit between a mix master and a musician.

Burruss, a former member of the Atlanta-based group Xscape, has won several Grammys for songwriting (she co-wrote TLC’s number-one hit, “No Scrubs” and wrote Destiny’s Child’s “The Writing’s on the Wall”) and mixing.

I received a letter from Meech… THE REAL BIG MEECH… and he’s apparently heated about folks referring to Clifford “T.I.” Harris as a “Snitch”…

There is no person in the Federal or State system that can say or saying that “T.I. Clifford Harris” snitched on them.

I’m tired of people spraying his name when his plea deal and sentencing transcripts is “ONLINE.” You pay $40 to get on “Pacer” and you have access to all court documents on any person in the “UNITED STATES.”

By the way, Meech’s letter is not just to me, it’s to the entire world.  Long story short… Big Meech says Tip is a “100% stand up dude” and all that “Snitch” talk is just that… TALK!

A shocking video recently went viral that showed members of an Atlanta street gang filmed beating a man because he was wearing skinny jeans.

Surveillance video from the JVC Grocery, located in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of SE Atlanta, shows a young man (dressed in all black) walking into a store while looking down at his cell.  As he comes out of the store, several men ambushed and brutally attacked him without cause.

In the video, the men are clearly yelling “No F*ggots in Jack City” as they assault the innocent teen.

[Sidebar: I totally blame Marko Marlo Hampton for her casual use of that same "F" word on national television. But I digress...]

The victim, who has not been disclosed, has reportedly not stopped crying since the beating and family members say he was too afraid to report the crime to the police.

It was the attention from the disturbing viral video that got investigators interested in finding the perpetrators of this senseless crime.

So it’s official. VH1 has finally confirmed that Love and Hip Hop is coming to Hotlanta!

I spilled the tea back in December about the Atlanta version of the popular VH1 reality series and reportedly filming has already begun!

In my original post which you can re-visit HERE, it was speculated that ATL participants would include Rasheeda, Diamond and Nivea.

Well there may be a reality-show shake up coming soon because word on the curb is that Nivea is a no go and at least one of the people in the photo above will be leaving their high rated show to jump aboard the Love & Hip Hop train.

One of Atlanta’s most beloved anchor women announced her retirement today.

Monica Kaufman-Pearson, known for her various hairstyle changes over the years, announced that she will be retiring after 37 years on the Atlanta airways as a Channel 2 Action News Anchor.

“I’ve  earned the right to rest,” Kaufman told viewers at about 4:12 p.m. “No more breaking news. No more working on holidays.”

“I will miss you the viewers.”

Pearson, ends her television career just a few months after Oprah Winfrey ceremoniously called it quits on her show as well.

I know you’re like, ‘why bring up Oprah?’… well did you know that Kaufman actually beat out Winfrey for the WSB Anchor position?

Oprah never let her forget it either! I swear… it’s true! I even have video proof!

Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta took their show on the road last weekend as they played host to “Ladies Night” at Studio32 in Macon, Georgia (February 4, 2012).

It was a total sell-out as ladies from miles around came out to witness the INFAMOUS ReDICKulous, the male stripper who Phaedra brought out for Kandi’s 35th birthday party last Summer.

I was invited out to witness the shenanigans up close and personal, so I tagged along as any curious observer would cause y’all know I don’t get out much.

Never in a gazillion years would I have imagined the crowd that awaited these two ladies, who graciously signed autographs for just about EVERYONE in the joint.

Oh… and in case you were wondering if ReDickulous is all that they made him out to be… well the answer is YES!…. and THEN SOME!

The newly blonde Rihanna and friends were spotted leaving Greystone Manor nightclub in West Hollywood last night (February 5, 2012) and judging from these hot & sweaty photos, they had the time of their lives.

The 23 year old diva, rocked a black leather Chanel biker style hat and revealing panel bodysuit paired with ripped jeans and is said to have been stumbling drunk as she exited the club hand in hand with her assistant and escorted by a police officer.
